LOS ANGELES, CA – Trans musical pop trio, the Gurls, are scheduled to perform at FHM x Grooby’s upcoming ‘Queer Prom: Come as You Are” on September 4 at the Avalon in Hollywood, CA. The group includes award-winning Domino Presley, Alissah, and Raquel Starr.
“We’re so excited and honored to be putting on a show for an event like this,” says Alissah. “It’s so nostalgic for queer people to have a second chance at prom.”
Domino adds, “This is such a special and beautiful event for our community, and we’re honored to have been asked to perform. I’m excited to finally have a prom moment in my authentic true form.”
Raquel says, “I did not go to prom because I was seen as an outcast myself, so I’m taking this chance to have a queer prom experience being fully myself, so I’m so excited to party with y’all!”
